How does making an offer work?

Hit Make an offer on any card or deck listing and you get one screen: type your number, glance at the market figures under it, then review shipping and payment in the same flow. Nothing is sent to the seller until you submit. Offers on Mythic Deal are binding. When you submit, we place an authorization hold on your card for the offer amount plus shipping and the service fee. The money is not taken yet — it is reserved so the seller knows the offer is real.

When am I actually charged?

The moment the seller taps Accept. The hold converts to a capture, the listing closes, and the order lands in your My Binder purchases with the full breakdown. If the seller declines, counters, or lets it expire, the hold is released and you are never charged.

What happens if the seller counters?

A counter releases your original hold and puts their number in front of you. You can accept, counter back, or walk. Accepting a counter charges you immediately at the countered price and you get the same purchase confirmation. Counters run in both directions and use the identical screen, so the numbers, fees and shipping line always read the same way.

What are the numbers under my offer amount?

Reference points, not rules. We show market price, Mana Pool, and where your offer sits relative to the asking price, so you can pitch something the seller will actually take instead of guessing. Tap any of them to open the underlying data for that exact printing.

Can I withdraw or change an offer?

Accepted Answer

Yes, until the seller acts on it. Open My Binder → Offers and withdraw. The hold is released right away. After that you can send a fresh offer at a different number.

Do offers expire?

They do. If a seller sits on an offer it expires on its own and the hold drops off your card. You will see the countdown on the offer row in My Binder.

Why does an offer need my shipping address?

Accepted Answer

Because an accepted offer is a completed sale — there is no second checkout step. We collect the address on the review step so the seller can ship the second they accept. If nothing is on file, the review step asks for it before the offer can be placed.

Can I negotiate on full decks?

Yes. Deck listings use the same offer engine as singles — same screen, same holds, same counters. You are negotiating on the deck as one unit, not card by card.

Every card it names is retrieved from our indexed Scryfall catalog, and rules answers are grounded in the rules corpus rather than invented. Card tiles show live prices and availability pulled from real listings. It is still an assistant, not a judge. For tournament rulings, confirm with an official source.

Can Copilot buy cards for me?

It never spends your money. It suggests cards and hands you the links: add to cart, make an offer, or push the whole set of missing cards into a bounty and let sellers come to you.

What's the difference between Buy now and Add to cart?

Buy now takes you straight to checkout with that single item. Add to cart holds it so you can group multiple cards — often from the same seller — and save on shipping.

What does the cart optimizer do?

It re-shops your cart across every seller who has those cards and finds the combination with the lowest all-in total including shipping. One tap swaps your cart to that plan.

How do I list a card?

Go to Sell, find the exact printing, set condition, finish, quantity and price, and publish. The listing is live on the marketplace immediately and appears in your public binder.

Can I just take a photo of the card?

Yes. Snap a photo and the scanner identifies the card, set and finish for you, then pre-fills the listing. On desktop it opens your webcam with a card-shaped viewfinder; on phones it uses the native camera.

Smart Pricing suggests a number from live market data, recent comparable sales, and what is currently listed for the same printing and condition. You can take it, undercut it, or set your own.

Use the bulk CSV importer under Sell. Upload your export, map the columns once, review what matched, and publish the whole batch. Store owners can also connect an existing storefront and sync inventory.

Any time, from My Binder → Listings. Price, condition, quantity and photos are all editable, and delisting pulls it from the marketplace instantly. Active offers on that listing stay valid until you act on them.

Payouts run through Stripe, so you complete a one-time verification before your first sale. Funds are released to your account after the buyer confirms delivery, or automatically 30 days after shipment if they never do.

Do I pay up front?

You fund the bounty when you post it, and the money sits in escrow. Sellers only get paid for what they actually deliver, and anything unfilled comes back to you.

Open a dispute from the order in My Binder before the auto-confirm window closes. The payout is paused while we look at it, and a resolved dispute can refund you in full.
